Third Honourable Mention for Borox
The jury also awarded three honourable mentions, 2.000€-worth each. These three projects also suggested developing proposals which were very attractive and sensitive in terms of taking into account traditional shapes, local materials and the work of the artisans in the area.
The projet
Developed by the architects Sara Martinez Sanchez, from Toledo, and Maribal Gonzalez Arjona, from Majorca, it is a project where greenery is the protagonist and where the Senior Citizen’s Social Club retrieves the traditional architectural type of the town, structuring the building around a courtyard connecting to it via a series of wooden galleries.
