Decameron
First Honourable Mention for Guadix
The First Honourable Mention worth 2000€, has been granted to “Decameron” corresponding to the team made up by Abelardo Linares del Castillo-Valero and Elena Jiménez Sánchez, who has received other awards in previous editions of this Competition.
The design proposal
This proposal was praised especially for the quality of the design put forward for the main access to the Alcazaba. However, it was considered that the fact that it was so attractive could somehow excessively compete with the historic building itself, being overshadowed by this access.
